Black Student Union

It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." - Mother Teresa

The main goal of the Black Student Union (BSU) is to foster unity by seeking to educate, to motivate the members to realize their call to be among the successful, and to have an opportunity to discuss and search for solutions to current challenges.

The BSU’s activities, lectures, and projects all center around preserving the dignity of the human person, protecting human rights, and testimonials of people who represent the values of Oakland Catholic’s Black Student Union. The club's main goals are to educate, integrate, and challenge.

  • Who: The BSU is open to all students in the Oakland Catholic student body.
  • When: Every fourth Monday of each month.
  • Where: Lecture Hall
  • Time: 2:40 p.m.

Please contact Ms. T Thompson (bsu@oaklandcatholic.org) or Mrs. Nicole Richardson (nrichardon@oaklandcatholic.org) if you have any questions or are interested in joining this club.
